The regulator supports the set voltage at the output when applying to the input any voltage from the range stated in the characteristics. In my case, 3 in was installed at the output. Tested at 5 V and 18 V at the inlet. Is used to adapt the power supply of the mobile phone (5 V) to power the electronic system of the gas column (3 V). I recommend the product and seller.
